What are the side effects of diflorasone?

Diflorasone may produce several side effects, including the development of acne-like bumps, itching, prickly heat, burning, a secondary infection, skin discoloration, stretch marks, dry skin, a burning sensation or irritation, thinning or softening of treated skin, increased hair growth, red or purplish lines on the face, groin, legs, arms and trunk. You may also notice pain and pus at the hair roots in hairy areas of the body. If these symptoms become severe, talk to your doctor. Also see your doctor if you have an allergic reaction to diflorasone, which is marked by hives, an itchy rash, breathing difficulty and swelling in the face, mouth and throat. If you absorb too much of this drug into your blood- stream, you may also experience weight gain, reddened skin, high blood pressure, emotional changes, a lack of energy, increased urination and excess body hair. This should also be brought to a doctor's attention.
