Who should not use clobetasol cream or ointment?

People who have rosacea, perioral dermatitis and allergies to the ingredients in clobetasol cream, ointment or similar medications should not use it. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discuss with their doctors the risks they would be taking by using clobetasol propionate cream or ointment, as should parents of children under 12 years of age.
