Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are antacids used in combination to relieve the symptoms of stomach problems and mild digestive issues, such as duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD), heartburn, and indigestion. In its prescription form, it is marketed under the brand name Mintox. The ingredients of this medication work together to neutralize stomach acid and dissipate gas, which relieves discomfort.
