Who should use Lidoderm?

Lidoderm provides for relief for people who have skin discomfort resulting from a shingles infection. With the consultation of a doctor, children can use Lidoderm as long as they do not receive more than the prescribed dose. Women who are breastfeeding should use Lidoderm with caution, in case it gets absorbed into the bloodstream and passed to the child. The topical patch form has not been studied in nursing women. Take special care to ensure that no medication gets into the eyes or mouth of someone using Lidoderm.
