Carbocaine, also known by its generic name of mepivacaine, is known to interact with at least nine drugs: amiodarone, bretylium, dofetilide, fentanyl/ropivacaine, ibutilide, morphine liposomal, ropivacaine, ropivacaine/sufentanil and sotalol.
