What are the side effects of enflurane?

You may not have any side effects after taking enflurane. However, the most common side effect is a temporary decrease in mental functioning. This should go away in two or three days. Some people experience nausea, vomiting, shivering, or an irregular heartbeat. Enflurane may cause your blood pressure to drop dangerously low. You may also experience muscle twitching or jerking. Studies have shown that enflurane may increase your white blood cell count. Although very rare, some people may develop liver damage after being administered enflurane.
