What should I know about Americaine before using it?

Before starting Americaine, tell your doctor if you are diabetic or have a history of peripheral vascular problems. Your doctor will also want to know if you smoke, or if you have any skin irritation issues, breathing disorders, heart disease, a history of methemoglobinemia, or enzyme deficiencies. To avoid potential interactions, give your doctor a complete list of any medications you are currently taking and a history of any allergies to foods or medicines you might have.
