What are the side effects of pramoxine?

Side effects of pramoxine (Summer's Eve Anti-Itch, PrameGel, Pramox) include burning, dryness, severe pain, redness, and swelling at the affected area. Usually, these side effects are not serious and go away when you discontinue use. Pramoxine may also cause an allergic reaction. Seek immediate medical attention by calling 911 if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, characterized by swelling, hives, and difficulty breathing. Pramoxine may cause unexpected side effects. If you experience an unanticipated reaction while taking pramoxine, contact your doctor.
