What should I know before using testosterone replacement therapy?

Testosterone may cause enlargement of the prostate or make it worse.

If you have impaired heart function, impaired kidney function, or impaired liver function, testosterone may not be a good option for you.

If you have had breast cancer or prostate cancer,  you should not take testosterone.

Testosterone can cause sleep apnea or make it worse.
