Should I take Androderm if I am pregnant?

NO. Androderm contains the male sex hormone testosterone, which can cause birth defects and can harm your unborn baby. The Food and Drug Administration (FSA) warns that women should not take Androderm. Pregnant women should avoid contact with Androderm patches. They should also avoid areas of a man's skin where an Androderm patch was applied. If a pregnant woman does make contact with such an area, she should wash her area of contact with soap and water immediately.
