Testosterone replacement therapy is offered at many websites online. An evaluation of 75 of these websites in 5 major cities found that although 95% promoted benefits of testosterone therapy, only 26.6% described any potential side effects. 12% stated that testosterone was not associated with any side effects. 36% of the sites were not directed by doctors. There is great variability in the information provided at websites.
