What is Zydone?

Zydone (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a drug prescribed to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. Each tablet of Zydone contains 400 milligrams (mg) of acetaminophen and either 5 mg, 7.5 mg or 10 mg of hydrocodone. Acetaminophen is what is known as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) and can treat mild to moderate pain. Hydrocodone is in a class of drugs called opiate analgesics (or narcotic analgesics) and can treat moderate to severe pain.
