What is Midol PMS?

Midol PMS is an over-the-counter (non-prescription) combination medication that treats the symptoms that occur in the days leading up to, and during, menstruation. Midol PMS contains a pain reliever (acetaminophen), a diuretic or water pill (pamabrom) that increases urination to eliminate water build-up, and an antihistamine (pyrilamine maleate) which acutally has a local anesthetic effect for back pain.  Midol PMS helps to relieve the cramps, headaches, backaches, muscular aches, bloating, water-weight gain, and irritability associated with your period.
