What is Premesyn PMS?

Premesyn PMS is an over-the-counter medication intended for women with symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). This drug has several active ingredients: pamabrom, acetaminophen and pyrilamine. Pamabrom can act as a diuretic in your body, reducing bloating and water retention. Acetaminophen provides pain relief. Pyrilamine is an antihistamine, a drug also commonly used to treat hay fever. Here, the acetaminophen and pyrilamine in Premesyn PMS may work together to reduce your cramps, aches and back pain when you have PMS.
