Who should not take hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets?

People with an allergy to Tylenol or narcotic painkillers should not take Vicodin HP tablets - hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen. Because of its habit-forming nature, do not share Vicodin HP with people it was not prescribed for, particularly if they have a habit of drug addiction or substance abuse. Pregnant women should only take hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen with a doctor's permission, since their baby can be born addicted to the medication.
