Is Midol PMS safe for long-term use?

You should contact your doctor if symptoms do not go away after 10 days, as that could indicate a more serious condition. While taking Midol PMS, it is important to monitor your acetaminophen intake, as too much acetaminophen over time can damage your liver. (Midol PMS contains 500 milligrams --mg -- of acetaminophen; recommended daily dosage should not exceed 4000 mg.) You should also be sure to monitor your alcohol consumption if you are a repeat or long-term user of Midol PMS.
