Do hydrocodone and acetaminophen HP tablets have interactions?

Drinking alcohol while taking hydrocodone-acetaminophen HP tablets will increase the likelihood of suffering dizziness, drowsiness and liver damage. You should tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medications, as they may potentially interact with hydrocodone bitrate and acetaminophen: any pain relief medication, narcotic antagonists, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, muscle relaxers, anxiety medication and psychiatric drugs. Over-the-counter cold and allergy medications should also be avoided unless you get a doctor's permission to use them while taking hydrocodone-acetaminophen HP. Never take more than four grams of the acetaminophen component in a day.
