How does Disalcid interact with other medications or food?

If Disalcid is prescribed to you, make sure you are not taking any other medication that is also a salicylate. Check labels of other medications you take to ensure you don't overdose. Do not use Disalcid with blood-thinning medications such as warfarin, drugs for gout such as probenecid, diabetes drugs or steroids such as prednisone without letting your doctor know. Take this drug with water, milk or food unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
