Can I use Tylox if I am taking phenothiazines?

If you are taking phenothiazines for serious emotional or mental disorders, you should not take Tylox (acetaminophen and oxycodone). Tylox, which is used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain on an as-needed basis, contains oxycodone, an opioid (narcotic) pain reliever. Combining phenothiazines with oxycodone can affect your breathing and heart rate. It also can cause a severe drop in blood pressure.
