Can I use Percodan if I'm taking phenelzine?

If you are taking phenelzine (Nardil), a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) that treats depression, you may be able to take Percodan, a prescription pain reliever that is a combination of oxycodone and aspirin. Many common medications, including antidepressants, may interact with Percodan; however, MAOIs aren't generally seen as a particular problem. Your doctor can evaluate your particular needs.

Before you start Percodan, give your doctor a complete list of all your prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as any supplements and vitamins that you take.
