You should not take the pain medication Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) if you're taking phenothiazines, which are used to treat mental illness, allergic reactions and nausea. Because both phenothiazines and Percocet lower blood pressure and slow breathing, in combination they can make these problems worse.
