You should not take the pain medication Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) if you're on selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam, Zelapar) or if you've taken it within the last 14 days. Selegiline belongs to a group of drugs called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which can make narcotic pain medications like Percocet more potent. The result can be overdose symptoms, including serious breathing problems, coma, seizures and shock. Before starting Percocet, let your doctor know if you take or have recently taken selegiline.
