Acetaminophen with codeine may interact with several medications, including naltrexone, quinidine, cimetidine, ethanol, isoniazid, sodium oxybate, HIV protease inhibitors, mental or mood disorder drugs, anxiety drugs, narcotic pain medications and anticoagulants. Drinking alcohol or using any kind of sleep-inducing or sedation medication may worsen the side effects.
