How does hydrogen peroxide therapy work?

Some people undergoing this therapy drink a diluted form of hydrogen peroxide, which many people keep around the house to apply topically to cuts and scrapes. Other people undergoing hydrogen peroxide therapy insert it through the nose, through the ears, rectally or vaginally. The most common method is through an intravenous injection. Treatments can last about 90 minutes; some people might want just one while others might seek infusions five days a week.
