Treatment for lymphangiomatosis can take a variety of forms. Surgery can be performed to remove the characteristic benign tumors growing in the pathways of the lymphatic system. Medications can also be used, including chemotherapy, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory drugs. A low-fat, high-protein diet may also be prescribed.
