Geriatrics Nursing

Alcohol abuse creates many health problems, as does addiction to any substance. Alcohol abuse can diminish sexual performance, psychomotor skills and mental acuity both short and long term. Emotionally, alcohol abuse delays dealing with underlying issues that may be causing the addiction, while adding to a diminishing self-image.
