Who should not take Proventil HFA?

You should not take Proventil HFA if you are allergic to albuterol or any of the medication's other ingredients. You also might not be able to take Proventil HFA if you have certain medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, seizure disorders or an overactive thyroid. Proventil HFA is not considered safe for pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.
