What are the side effects of salbutamol?

Side effects that may occur due to salbutamol range from mild to life-threatening. Less severe side effects include diarrhea; insomnia; muscle pain; cold symptoms like hoarseness, cough, or a runny nose; headache and dizziness; nervousness; or dry throat and mouth. See a doctor immediately if you suffer an allergic reaction to salbutamol. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include an itchy rash, hives, breathing difficulties, and swelling in the throat, mouth, or face. Other, severe side effects that require immediate medical care include: breathing trouble, chest tightness, and wheezing right after taking the medication; increased urination combined with confusion; thirst; weakness; leg discomfort and an irregular heart rate; tremors; chest pain with a pounding; or blurred vision with a serious headache; buzzing in the ears; confusion; anxiety; shallow breathing; or seizure.
