How soon after taking Proair HFA will my symptoms improve?

Your symptoms should begin to get better within minutes of taking Proair HFA. When albuterol is used to treat breathing problems from lung disease, preventive doses are usually taken every four to six hours. When used to help prevent wheezing or breathing difficulties caused by exercise, wait at least 15 minutes after using Proair to begin any exercise regimen.
