What should I know about Proair HFA before taking it?

You should know that certain conditions may get worse or become dangerous if combined with Proair HFA. This includes high blood pressure or any heart problems, diabetes, seizure disorders or an overactive thyroid. Although albuterol may be harmful to an unborn baby if used by a pregnant woman, breathing difficulties may also be harmful to a developing fetus and the woman. An overdose of Proair HFA can be fatal.
