Should I talk to my doctor about my adrenal gland disorder symptoms?

Dr. Jeanne Morrison, PhD
Family Practitioner

Adrenal gland disorders can be life-threatening. Addison's disease leaves the body without enough cortisol to respond adequately to stress and can cause adrenal crisis and death if the body encounters a severe stress, such as injury or infection. Cushing's syndrome can cause dangerous complications, including osteoporosis, kidney stones, high blood pressure, diabetes and depression. Talk to your doctor about treating your symptoms.
