If an Addisonian crisis occurs, it's important to get treatment immediately. Addisonian crises are treated with intravenous injections. These injections usually include a steroid such as hydrocortisone, sugar, and saline solution to rehydrate the person. Addisonian crises can be fatal if the person is not given this treatment immediately.
