Women with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may feel more stress, anxiety, depression, or emotional pain than men with ADHD. Women with this condition may be unable to handle the day-to-day struggles of balancing work, home, children, and family. Many times with women, ADHD is not properly identified and other issues surface, such as lower self-esteem, anxiety disorders, chronic stress, and excessive moodiness.
