Having ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) is different than just being overly excited or distracted. Anyone can be forgetful, distracted, impatient or overly energetic at times, but in ADHD, these behaviors are worse and happen more often. Also, in children they can cause problems at home, school or when playing with friends.
