When can I stop taking Zestril?

Do not stop taking Zestril (lisinopril) without talking to your doctor. The medication controls high blood pressure and treats heart failure but does not cure either condition. Keep taking the medicine even if you feel better. If the drug is causing problems for you, talk to your doctor.
