When can I stop taking Lotensin?

You should not stop taking the blood pressure drug Lotensin (benazepril), even if you feel well, until you talk to your doctor. Lotensin helps control high blood pressure but does not cure the condition. If you stop taking the medicine, your blood pressure may climb dangerously high without your being aware of it.
