What is enalaprilat?

Enalaprilat injection is a prescription solution used to lower blood pressure. It is generally given to people who cannot take blood pressure medications orally. Most people receive their injections at a doctor's office or clinic. Some people are taught how to properly inject themselves with Enalaprilat and can administer their own medications. Enalaprilat injections are able to lower blood pressure because they relax your blood vessels. Enalaprilat is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
