What should I avoid while taking Aceon?

Do not become pregnant while taking the blood pressure medication Aceon (perindopril). This drug can seriously harm, and even be fatal to, a developing fetus. If you could possibly conceive while on Aceon, talk to your doctor about finding an effective form of birth control. If you discover you're pregnant while on Aceon, don't take another dose and call your doctor right away.

Aceon can make you feel dizzy or lightheaded when you get up after sitting or lying down. Don't stand or sit up too quickly: Rise slowly and you should be able to avoid feeling dizzy.
