What are the side effects of enalapril?

Serious side effects of enalapril may include lightheadedness; chest pain; dizziness; fainting; flu-like symptoms, such as fever and body aches; bruising or bleeding; unusual heartbeats. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of these serious side effects. Less serious side effects of enalapril include: a chronic dry cough, headaches, change in taste or appetite, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue and rash. Discuss any concerns about these side effects with your doctor.
