What side effects should I report to my doctor if I'm taking enalapril?

You may experience some mild side effects from enalapril, such as a cough or dizziness. Most people find these side effects manageable. However, if you develop any of the following problems, call your doctor immediately: swollen face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs; hoarseness or difficulty breathing or swallowing; yellowed skin or eyes; fever; sore throat, chills, and other signs of infection; or feeling lightheaded or like you could faint.
