Is it safe to use an NSAID if I am taking Vasotec?

If you are taking Vasotec (enalapril), a drug to treat high blood pressure, you may not be able to take a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), such as aspirin or ibuprofen. NSAIDs and Vasotec can interact, reducing the effectiveness of Vasotec. That can leave your blood pressure uncontrolled. In addition, if you have kidney problems and are taking Vasotec, an NSAID may make your kidneys worse.
