What happens if I miss a dose of Captopril?

Because captopril increases blood flow throughout the body, missing a dose can decrease those effects and eventually lead to elevated blood pressure. You can take your dose late if necessary, or you can take it at the next scheduled interval. However, never take more than one dose at a time or you risk overdosing.
