Can I use Zestril if I have a history of angioedema?

Angioedema can be a serious side effect of the blood pressure drug Zestril (lisinopril), so anyone with a history of this problem should not take it. Angioedema causes swelling under the skin of the face, neck or other body parts and can be dangerous or even fatal if it interferes with breathing. Before you start Zestril, make sure your doctor knows about your history of angioedema.
