Can I use Mavik if I am taking an NSAID?

Talk to your doctor about taking the blood pressure drug Mavik (trandolapril) if you take a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Taking NSAIDs may reduce the ability of Mavik to lower blood pressure. There's an additional warning if you are elderly, take diuretics or have impaired kidney function: Taking NSAIDs along with Mavik may raise the risk of kidney failure.
