Can I use Mavik if I am breastfeeding?

You should not take the blood pressure drug Mavik (trandolapril) while breastfeeding. Animal studies suggest that Mavik passes into breast milk and could harm an infant. Talk to your doctor about other blood pressure treatment that would be safer while breastfeeding.
