Can I use fosinopril if I am breastfeeding?

You should not use the blood pressure medication fosinopril if you are breastfeeding. Fosinopril can pass into breast milk and be consumed by a nursing baby. Talk to your doctor about whether you should wean your baby in order to take fosinopril or use an alternative blood pressure treatment.
