Can I take Vasotec if I am breastfeeding?

You should not take the blood pressure drug Vasotec (enalapril) if you're breastfeeding. Vasotec passes into breast milk and can cause serious harm to a nursing baby. Talk to your doctor about whether another method of controlling your blood pressure can work for you or whether it would be better for you to wean your baby in order to take Vasotec.
