Why am I so clumsy in my third trimester?

You may sense your coordination getting worse as you trip and lose balance more frequently. Your new posture and growing front side are shifting your center of gravity and the way that you balance yourself. The hormones of pregnancy can cause joints to be looser; you will also retain more fluids, leading to swelling in the extremities.
