The employees and physicians at Largo Medical Center have been proudly serving the community since 1978. As a designated Statutory Teaching Hospital by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), we provide clinical education and training to future and current doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, in addition to delivering medical care to patients. The hospital’s staff is continuously recognized for the quality care it provides. We have been recognized as a Top Performer among hospitals nationwide by The Joint Commission for 5 consecutive years, have become one of the first Certified Atrial Fibrillation Centers in the county and have received the Gold Seal by The Joint Commission.
