My orthopaedic surgeon suggested I try physical therapy first before considering surgery for two small rotator cuff tears I received in my right shoulder from a climbing accident last October. I was referred to Dr. Filutze for physical therapy. Hands down, Dr. Filutze is the most effective physical therapist I have seen in my lifetime! After an initial consultation and evaluation, Dr. Filutze put together a physical therapy plan specific towards my injury and short term goals. Every week there was a noticeable increase in range of motion and strength. Within a couple of months, I was able to get an almost full range of motion in my right shoulder in addition to significantly stronger muscles in the shoulder. Dr. Filutze is easy to talk to and thoroughly understands the challenges of this type of injury. I never felt rushed during each visit and always learned new exercises as I progressed. I highly recommend Dr. Filutze and NM Orthopaedics!
